A Splendid Earth Wellness assists employers and employees with workplace postures and movement behaviors by evaluating job requirements and employees to design a Wellness and Ergonomics program that corrects musculoskeletal disorders, such as back and neck pain, stemming from environmental exposures such as prolonged sitting or repetitive motions.
Prolonged, stationary postures, such as sitting in a chair, contribute to the development of musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. K encourages people to incorporate alternative sitting by using a stability ball for parts of your workday. Additionally, creating an environment that promotes movement is essential for health. Dr. K suggests simple equipment such as stability balls and resistance tubing.

Jana Bartels teaches Zumba and Zumba Toning. She trained throughout her childhood in classical ballet but ended up with a career in healthcare. After taking time off from her job as a Physician Assistant to raise her children, she discovered Zumba. It began just as good exercise that doubled as an hour of "alone time"- a total luxury for a mom with three little ones! Her love of this fun exercise routine that also kept her healthy grew and she decided to become an instructor. Zumba combines Jana's interest in health with her passion for dance but mainly, it is FUN! Jana lives in Columbus, IN with her husband, Chris, two daughters and son and she hopes to inspire you to join the party that is Zumba fitness!
Amanda Hummer is a warrior woman, a mother of 2 amazing little girls, and a teacher dedicated to uplifting humanity by way of yoga, meditation, writing, and reiki, among other tools in her healing basket. She has been studying and teaching yoga and meditation for 5 years, and received her 200 RYT in the Yoga from the Heart teacher training in 2015. She has since studied and became a reiki master, and offers energy balancing sessions, which is work that really lights her up. Amanda describes herself as both a mystic and a warrior woman, balancing the soft feminine love with the strength of a ferocious loving heart. In studying with her, you will learn to balance deep connection to yourself as well as the joy of community, since each of these are intrinsic to our wholeness.

I began my fitness journey after losing my mother in 2011 to cancer and a short 10 months later my brother to cancer as well. This was a wake-up call to get my health in order so I could raise my kids in case cancer came calling for me. I have since competed in a mini-marathon, several 5k’s, 10k’s, a body building competition, received my certification in Barre Above, as well as NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification and a Fitness Nutrition Certification and currently working towards a Pre-Natal/Pregnancy Certification. We can never stop learning, for ourselves or our clients.
